pathetic highs

I guess it doesn't matter if you're job is primarily in the home or corporate or in school. We all have little things that give us a rather pathetic high. Just a moment ago, I thought, Sweet! I'm going to treat myself to a load of sheets and towels! A whole load of laundry, but MUCH less to fold.

seriously. super and lame at the same time.

How about you? What lame thing gives you a minor thrill??

Clean bath mat. There's nothing like it.

It doesn't matter how messy the rest of my house is, if my bed gets made I feel like everything is in its place.

SIMPLY cleaning the house from stem to stern. There were years, I'd have to feel accomplished if I cleaned one toilet. Having the time and energy to do that is so very satisfying!!!

Perfectly vaccumed carpet with all those lovely lines! I'm getting so excited just thinking about it that I might go vaccume right now!

I totally agree about the bath mat! And just like you- linens are so much easier than a load full of clothes.

I also love clean mopped floors! I mopped yesterday and it lasted a whole hour until a glad of chocolate milk and a broken candy thermometer ruined everything...

I like the vacuum lines too. Also, a clean car rips me up -- I spend a fair amount of time in it!

I love when it's time to clean out the dishwasher and there isn't a stack of dirty dishes waiting to go back in it right away. Great post! I laughed. I certainly think the same way about laundry, because it's one more load checked of my list but half the work of a regular load of clothing to fold.
