(un)loved and (dis)respected

It's hardly remarkable, but these sinful reactions have been on my mind.

Brent's response to "I don't feel loved" is to be annoyed and cold.

My response to "I don't feel respected" is to think he's an idiot.

I don't think these are unremarkable. In fact, I find them rather profound. (I see the same tendencies in my own heart.)So, what could we do if we don't feel loved? My instinct is to say, "Am I loving as I should?"

and the answer to that, jen, would be "probably not".

Maybe not remarkable, but agreed...it is profound and often overlooked.

Are you doing the love and respect study?

Yours and Brent's responses reinforce the initial observations (by the other).

I appreciated the book Love and Respect. I need to read it again.
(and again, and again....)
